Subprocessors
Effective Date: 20 April 2026 | Last Updated: 20 April 2026
This page lists the categories of subprocessors Ad Astra Computing Inc. ("we", "us") engages to deliver Dispatch ("the Service"). It is referenced by, and forms part of, our Data Processing Addendum.
We contractually require every subprocessor to meet security and privacy obligations at least as protective as those in the DPA, and we remain liable for their performance under applicable law.
Current Subprocessors
The table below describes the functions we rely on each subprocessor for. We disclose categories rather than a live vendor inventory to reduce the attack surface exposed on a public page; a current, named list is available to Team and Enterprise customers under NDA on request to [email protected].
| Category | Purpose | Data Processed | Processing Region |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud hosting & content delivery | Serves the Dispatch website, runs our backend APIs, and delivers downloads. | IP address, request metadata, account identifiers | Global edge network (primary regions: EU, US) |
| Premium AI inference | Runs inference for Pro and Team cloud models. | Prompts and tool results transmitted during a Premium AI request. We do not retain prompt content. | EU / US edge |
| Authentication & account management | Stores authentication state, subscription status, API tokens (hashed). | Email, organization membership, token metadata | EU / US |
| Payments & billing | Processes card and bank payments for Pro and Team subscriptions; issues invoices. | Billing name, billing address, payment method, transaction history | Global (payments processor is PCI-DSS certified) |
| Transactional email | Sends account emails (sign-in codes, receipts, security notices, abuse responses). | Email address, message content | EU / US |
| Error and performance monitoring | Collects anonymised crash reports and performance telemetry from the desktop and server components. | Stack traces, OS / version metadata, anonymous install identifier. Prompt content is excluded by design. | EU / US |
| Customer support | Ticketing and reply management for support and abuse correspondence. | Email, message content, account identifier | EU / US |
Upstream AI Providers
When you connect a third-party AI CLI (Anthropic Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Gemini CLI) from within Dispatch, you do so under your own account with that provider. Those providers act as independent controllers for the data you send them and are not subprocessors of Ad Astra Computing Inc. Their handling of your data is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Changes to the Subprocessor List
We may add, remove or replace subprocessors as the Service evolves. For material changes that affect Team or Enterprise customers, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice by email to the organization's billing contact. You may object to a new subprocessor by notifying us at [email protected]; we will work in good faith to offer a commercially reasonable alternative, and if none is available you may terminate the affected subscription for cause.
